HOW IT STARTED...
St. Barnabas began in the 1950s in a tack barn. Our founders wanted to start an Episcopal church in the Greenwich backcountry, and in time, their missionary spirit bore fruit: a thriving community of families drawn from all over Greenwich, an extraordinary midcentury modern building designed by parishioner Philip Ives, and a tradition of harnessing natural, spiritual, and liturgical beauty to draw our hearts towards the God of Jesus Christ.
