Music & Choirs
Our church has been blessed with an outstanding music program. With a wealth of talent, remarkable acoustics, and a world class organ, and drawing on the rich musical heritage of the Episcopal Church, music at St. Barnabas adds to our spiritual experience. It has also been recognized throughout our region and beyond. The musical ministry of the adults and children who perform in our choirs enables us to gain greater perception of the mystery and elegance of the Episcopal liturgy. The selection of music supports the lectionary and seasons of the Church year.

The Choir
The St. Barnabas Choir is a group of volunteer and professional adult singers who support our worship at our 10 A.M. Sunday service and other special services. The choir offers several concerts throughout the year and is generally viewed as one of the finest church choirs in the tri-state area. New volunteer singers are always welcome and those interested should contact our Director of Music, Michael Roush, for more information.

The Youth Choir
The Youth Choir is a wonderful experience for our young members of 3rd grade age or older. We are very proud of our young singers who provide the choral music at the 10 A.M. service on the 3rd Sunday of the month. They also sing with the adult choir on other occasions. Under the direction of Elena Williamson, Youth Choir Director, the children rehearse weekly and receive extensive coaching in reading music and vocal skills.

Nativity Pageant The Youth Choir and Church School members gather in Advent to perform the traditional Nativity Pageant.
